To be frank, though I've heard the word content writing, I was absolutely clueless about it and in what way it enhances the way you communicate or write. I always thought writing or communicating requires only a good command of the English language and whatever you put across will be gleefully accepted by society. I'm completely wrong here and no wonder that most of my written words did not evoke even a basic response when I put it across on social media even though I thought that I did a decent job.
All this changed when I came across a Facebook ad on Content writing by Content Vidhya which clearly mentions the difference it can create in you not only in terms of vocabulary, grammar, expressions but also the etiquette of presentations in various platforms for example- Social media, blogging etc
What it is all about…
Content Vidhya’s headline screamed “6 Days LIVE Content Writing & Copywriting Workshop” and I'm hooked. I went through the entire website, about the trainer Ms Uma Madavi(it is very important to know your trainer and their background), references and found my calling, this is it.
As the headline suggests it was 6 days of workshop and the very first day I could sense that Content Writing is all about ‘Wordplay’, Content- as such is a term meaning to convey things to others about your idea, business, project or anything. I could sense as a Content writer you are supposed to bring an idea or topic and create content which can be in the digital platform or offline platforms like media, presentations, technical papers etc.
My Joyous 6 days….
The six days were absolutely fun for one reason, Our trainer Ms Uma Madhavi. She instantly hit it off with her down to earth approach, simple language but, powerful written words and the way the whole program was designed made it easy for us to grasp the nuances of Content Writing. The program included Introduction to Content Writing, Building perfect write-up, Storytelling & Copywriting, Niche Blogging and Research Frameworks & Scope of Content writing. Each day after the session there is a Q&A session and a written assignment on the following day. I do not think there is any other way it can be presented. It was perfect and I was more than keen to present my assignments as I'm simply keen to know where do I fare.

The possibilities are endless and What I've gained is just the tip and I feel the workshop has indeed helped me to go, beyond what I thought was impossible. I can say with all probabilities that I too am a Content writer and that too a certified content writer from the stables of “ Content Vidhya”.
